Voice of The Fisherman/Drunk Taverngoer
I'm a professional voice actor specializing in character-driven work for video games and animation, with commercial, promo, narration, and audio drama work in the mix as well.
I took a slightly roundabout path to the booth.
Performance has always been part of my life. I grew up singing, then found radio, acting, live announcing, choir directing, and a knack for impressions of people who really would rather I hadn't. Give me a microphone and a little room to play and I'm a happy guy.
For a long time, though, performing wasn't how I made my living.
I've worked in tech, automotive, finance, insurance, sales, and customer service. I've built websites. I've sold cars and financial products. I've explained complicated things to frustrated customers, helped people make some pretty big financial decisions, delivered good news and bad...and I made a LOT of coffee.
All those years working with people gave me something I use in the booth every day: an ear for how people actually communicate when something matters to them. When it's personal.
And I never really stopped performing. I kept singing, directed choirs, did live announcing, and even voiced characters in some popular game mods years before working professionally from a home studio made much sense.
Eventually, the world caught up. Remote voiceover became a real thing, I built the studio and jumped back in.
And I booked.
Today my work includes video games, animation, commercials, promo, audio drama, and narration. Character work is where I'm happiest. I love figuring out who someone is underneath the voice. What do they want? What's bothering them? What aren't they saying? Sometimes one tiny choice is what makes the whole character click.
I've met a LOT of characters over the years.
Now I get paid to play them.
